About Me
Growing up in a musical family, I always knew that I wanted to pursue music as a career. Though I loved performing in school and church events, there was an underlying knowledge that I was an educator at heart.
With a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a Master of Arts in Teaching, I had the essential training to become a "Voice Teacher". However, I also discovered a passion for theater arts, which led to a nearly two-decade long career in the field.
During that time, I had countless opportunities to help performers tell compelling stories and engage with their audiences through voice and nonverbal communication techniques. But as I continued to work outside of theater, I also discovered a talent for coaching high-stakes communicators in various fields, including law and business.
People learn better when information is presented in a way that is easy to understand and emotionally engaging.
My focus on understanding the neuroscience of audience engagement has led me to create a FULL SPECTRUM vocal development approach that goes beyond traditional vocal training. I believe that communication is about more than just what you say — it's about how you say it, and how your audience receives it.

Vocal Registration
A full spectrum voice has easy access to chest, middle, and head voice. It can move seamlessly through these three registers. Knowing how, and when, to use each will help you provide dynamic energy to the learning environment.
Breath Control
Nothing works without your breath. A full spectrum voice works with an integrated breath mechanism for strength, sustainability and production. Without breath management, the voice will never achieve its potential for freedom and creativity.
Building Blocks
After accessing vocal registration and mastering breath management, a full spectrum voice uses the building blocks of pitch, pace, melody, tone, volume and articulation to keep audiences engaged and actively learning.
